  Eric D. Maurer, 36, of Pompano Beach, Fla., passed away Sept. 28,
  2002 in Boca Raton, Fla.  Born Feb. 25, 1966 in Baltimore, Md., the
  son of Dean and Lois (Barndt) Maurer of Somerset.  Preceded in death
  by paternal grandparents Dean and Alice (Schrock) Maurer and maternal
  grandfather Harry Barndt.  Survived by his parents and maternal
  grandmother Mary Stahl of Bakersville.  He was a computer specialist
  who worked in the Boca Raton area.  He graduated from the American
  Academy in 1982.  He was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in
  Pompano Beach.  A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mt.
  Calvary Lutheran Church in Lavansville.  Rev. Elisa Osman
  officiating.  Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of
  flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Mt. Calvary Lutheran
  Church at 1301 Glades Pike Road, Somerset, Pa. 15501, or the Humane
  Society of Somerset County, RD 3 Somerset, Pa. 15501.  Arrangements
  by Miller Funeral Homes, Somerset.
