Maurer, 97, Stoughton Lakes, Jennerstown, died Sept. 7, 1977, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 3, 1880, in Jenner Township, daughter of Edward B. and Ida (Sipe) Maurer. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Mrs. Marian Blanchard, Mrs. Edith Stoughton, and Mrs. Louella Shoff; brothers Ralph and Earl. Survived by sister, Mrs. Lillian Buck, Washington, D.C., and brother B.J. Maurer, Sr., of Boswell, and also a number of nieces and nephews. Member of United Church of Christ and Daughters of America, Revolution, New Mexico. Longtime employee at V.A. Hospital, Ford Bayard, New Mexico. Graveside service and interment at Jenner Crossroads Cemetery, 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Herbert Moore, officiating. Arrangements in charge of the Joseph H.
