Maust, 88, of Meyersdale RD 1, died February 23, 1984 at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Grantsville, Maryland, she was a daughter of the Jonas Miller and Barbara (Swartzentruber) Miller. She was a member of Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church, Grantsville, Maryland. She is survived by her husband, Allen J. Maust; two sons, Paul A. Maust, Grantsville; Jonas Maust, Patriot, Ohio; a foster son, Joseph Dolan, Accident, Maryland; five daughters, Mrs. Barbara Barnhart, Dover, Delaware; Miss Mabel Maust, Gays Creek, Kentucky; Mrs. Catharine Sommers, Springs; Mrs. Marian Kemp, Pital, Costa Rica; Miss Martha Maust, Hardshell, Kentucky; one brother, Ivan J. Miller, Grantsville; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Maust, Miss Catharine Miller and Mrs. Rhoda Maust, all of Grantsville; 20 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four foster grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 14 foster great-grandchildren. One daughter, Miss Rhoda E. Maust, preceded her in death. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Services were conducted at Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church with the Rev. Ivan Maust officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. The Republic, March 1, 1984 [M0446]
