Born Aug. 6, 1917, in Greenville Township, daughter of the late Resley and Florence (Briskey) Tressler. Preceded in death by her husband, Ray O. Maust, Dec. 15, 2001, one son, Denton Maust, four brothers, Jackie Tressler, Resley Tressler Jr., Duane Tressler and Abraham Tressler and one sister, Rita Hollada. Survived by one son, Edward Maust, Springs; one daughter, Sherry Murray, Salisbury; four brothers, Don Tressler, Salisbury, Bradley Tressler, Ashland, Ky., Marvin Tressler, Boynton, and Mark Tressler, Baltimore, Md.; three sisters, Violet Hovatter, Fort Hill, Evelyn Doerr, Accident, Md., and Marvette Hollada, Springs; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Member of Springs Mennonite Church. Had been employed as a cook at Gnagey's Restaurant, Meyersdale, and then retired from Yoder's Locker Lunch Counter, Grantsville, Md. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Steven Heatwole officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment, Springs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Springs Mennonite Church.
