Born March 7, 1923, in Elk Lick Township, son of the late Leonard and Nora (Scell) Maust. Preceded in death by two daughters: Sandra and Linda; two sisters: Geneva Minnick and Avis McGaha, and four brothers: Harold, Warren, Delmer and Melvin. Survived by wife of 54 years Virginia (Bluebaugh) Maust; two sons: Cecil Jr., married to the former Judith Yoder, Meyersdale, and Carson of Springs; four daughters: Carol Moranduzzo, wife of Robert, Davidsville; Bonnie Pritts, Frostburg, Md.; Joyce Wilt, wife of Delmas, Boynton, and Mona Lee Yoder, wife of Dennis, Meyersdale; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by four brothers: Vilis, Somerset; Gordon, Everett; Ted, Meyersdale, and Grover, Phoenix, Ariz., and a sister, Fern Smith, Somerset. Employed by Sanner Sawmill for 10 years prior to retirement. Worked in the sawmill industry for many years prior to Sanner's. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Tuesday. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Dale Mennonite Church, with Pastor Joe Byler officiating. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery.
