Maust, 89, of Grantsville RD 1, Md. and formerly of Meyersdale, died Friday, April 15, 1994, at her residence. Born Feb. 9, 1905, at Grantsville, daughter of the late Jonas B. and Barbara (Swartzentruber) Miller. Also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Maust, Nov. 10 1988, a foster daughter, Amy Dolan Yoder, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, and eight brothers, and sisters. Survived by four sons: Willard, Meyersdale, Evan, Salisbury, Ivan, Grantsville, Md.; Francis, Lebanon, a daughter, Emily Maust, Grantsville, Md. Two sisters: Rhoda Maust, and Catharine J. Miller, both of Grantsville, Md.; 32 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Member of Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church, church sewing circle, and former primary Sunday school teacher. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Service to be conducted 1:30 p.m. Sunday, at Maple Glen Conservative Mennonite Church with Rev. Philip Moser and Rev. Ivan Miller, (Greenwood, Del.) officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
