All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ELIZABETH MAUST Mrs. Park Maust was Fatally Burned As a result of burns received last Thursday when her dress was ignited while making fire in a kitchen stove at her new home in Somerset Township, Mrs. Elizabeth (Dixon) Maust, aged 21 years, wife of Park Maust, died Friday afternoon at the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dixon, in Somerset Township. Mrs. Maust suffered severe burns of the chest, face and hands. She is survived by her husband and a three-months'-old daughter, Ruth Anna. She also leaves her parents, mentioned above; one brother, William Dixon, and three sisters, Marion, June and Edna Dixon, all at home. The body was turned over to Undertaker Brooks and Hauger to prepare for burial. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Horner Lutheran Church, Jenner Township, conducted by Rev. H. M. Petrea, pastor of the Lavansville Lutheran Church. Rev. T. R. Coffman, pastor of the Somerset Church of the Brethren, assisted with the services. Interment in the Horner Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, January 23, 1930
