Maust, 89, of Lititz, Pa., died July 14, 2000. Born in Elizabethtown. Preceded in death by parents, Samuel L. and Annie B. (Lehman) Longnecker and husband, Herbert K. Maust, who died in 1996. Survived by children: John L. Maust, married to Betty of Adalusia, Ala.; James L., married to Millie of Collegeville; David L. of Shippensburg; and Miriam L., married to Leroy Achenbach of Elizabethtown. Also survived by brothers and sisters: Esther L. Stoner of Elizabethtown; A. Lois, married to Elmer Miller of Philadelphia; A. Lehman, married to Henrietta of Keyser, W. Va.; Mervin G., married to Frances of Nocogdoches, Texas; and Harold, married to Esther of Merton. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Homemaker and a member of Locust Lane Mennonite Church in Harrisburg. In her early years, she and her husband were involved with the ministry of Marietta Mennonite Church. She was also a former member of Good Mennonite Church in Bainbridge. She and her husband traveled extensively with her Christian teaching ministry, speaking at women's conferences and various other gatherings. They also served their church as "helps," teaching Bible school and doing other work for churches and people in need throughout the United States and Canada. An extremely resourceful woman, she was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sketching. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday at East Bethany Chapel, Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, Pa., and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Good Mennonite Church in Bainbridge, Pa. Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Don Jacobs and Rev. Wayne Lawton officiating. Interment, Good Mennonite Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
