She was born April 4, 1922 in Berlin, daughter of J. Jacob and Eunice (Walker) Glessner. Faye was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands Harvey E. Bowser and Warren F. Maust. She is survived by two daughters: Donalee Preston and husband Scott, Adel, GA; and Nancy Polk and husband Rick, Atlanta, GA; two sons: W. Fred Maust II and wife Deanna, Atlanta; and David A. Maust and wife Wendy, Little Rock, AR.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the 1940 class valedictorian of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. She received a business education degree from the State Teachers College at Indiana, PA, began her career in education, and retired from the Indian Creek School system in 1977 after 34 years of teaching. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. Faye enjoyed spoiling her lap dogs, gardening, traveling, and playing bridge. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26th, at 11 a.m. at the Berlin Brethren Church, Pastor Tom Sprowls, Jr. officiating.
