  FRANCIS A. MAUST
  
    Francis A. Maust, 90, of Berlin RD 4, died Aug. 18, 1972 at his
  home.  He was born May 18, 1882 in Elk Lick Township, Somerset,
  County, a son of the late Jacob and Mary (Miller) Maust.  He was
  preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary J. Coleman in 1967.
    Surviving are these children: Mrs. Henry (Marian) Hittie; Donald;
  Ward; Mrs. George (Ella) Hittie; Robert; Dwight; Mrs. John (Ruth)
  Menear and Evelyn Ringler, all of Berlin; also 21 grandchildren ; 38
  great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers:
  Andrews, Long Beach, Calif.; Benjamin, Somerset; and Samuel of Berlin;
  and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Carrie) Landis, of  Jenners.
    He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.
    Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment
  in IOOF Cemetery, Berlin.
