Born Jan. 10, 1916, at Springs he was the son of the late Norman and Mayme (Kimmel) Maust. Mr. Maust was preceded in death by one son, Martin Maust. He is survived by his wife, Viola Marie (Tressler) Maust; a son, Dale Maust, Fort Hill; a daughter, Karen Maust, York; a daughter-in-law, Jean Maust, Springs; a sister, Freda Maust, Springs; a granddaughter, Debra Eckard; two great-grandsons, Patrick and Justin Eckard. Mr. Maust was a farmer and a member of Springs Mennonite Church, Springs. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, Md. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Springs Mennonite Church with Rev. Steven Heatwole officiating. Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
