Born July 22, 1894, in Summit Township, the daughter of the late William H. and Annie B. (Walker) Gnagey. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert G. Maust, in 1966; four brothers, Dalton, Edgar, John, and James. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Elaine Gardiner, Albany N.Y.; grandchildren, Cheryl, Albert, and Samuel; great-grandchildren, Scott, Katie, and Jeffrey; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Rummel, Lancaster; and Miss Mildred S. Gnagey, Somerset; and several nieces and nephews. Former teacher, Summit Township schools. Had been co-operator with her husband of the Sipesville Store. Member of Sipesville Church of the Brethren, past matron Order of Eastern Star #138. Family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.
