Maust, Mary Magdalena Kimmell

  Mrs. Mary Magdalena Kimmell Maust, widow of Joseph Maust, died at the home of 
her son, James Maust in Elk Lick Township on June 29 at the advanced age of 84 
years, 4 mos. and 29 days. Her husband died in October 1879. The following 
children survive: James of Elk Lick Township; Truman of Garrett Co. Md.; Bruce 
of Sanborn, Iowa; Mrs. William Meyers, Mrs. Hiram Schrock both of Summit 
Township. One sister, Mrs. Jos. Altfather of Shanksville is a sister. There are 
living 31 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Maust was a member of 
the Church of the Brethren of Salisbury where the funeral services were held on 
Saturday morning July 1, Rev. B. F. Walz, her pastor, officiating. Interment was 
made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. The deceased was highly esteemed and loved by 
all who knew her. W. C. Price was undertaker.
