PETER S. MAUST

  Peter S. Maust died Wednesday evening, Feb. 23, at his home, Meyersdale R.D. 
1, near St. Paul, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 20 days, following an 
illness of three years.
  He was born June 8, 1866, in Somerset County, a son of Samuel and Christina 
(Ringler) Maust.
  He is survived by his wife, Annie (Livengood) Maust, and four children: Mrs. 
Maude Bender, Goshen, Ind.; Homer, Meyersdale, R.D. 1; Roy, Garrett, R.D. 2; 
Mrs. Martha Karper, Grafton, O.; also by sixteen grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren and by three brothers, Henry, Christian and Wilson Maust.
  Following brief services at the home, at 2 o'clock Saturday, the funeral will 
be conducted at 2:45 at the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church, of which 
Mr. Maust was a life long member, by Rev. Alvin J. Forry of Larimer, Pa., former 
pastor of St. Paul Church.  Interment in the adjoining cemetery under the 
direction of H. R. Konhaus.
