Maust, 53, of Rockwood died May 12, 1976, in the Oakland Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born May 2, 1923, in Summit Township, a son of Clarence and Olive (Witt) Maust. He is survived by his wife, Linda Bowlby Maust of Rockwood; two sons, Scott Allen, at home, and Quentin Jr., of Plumsteadville, Pa.; one daughter, Margaret Pressler of Kintnersville, Pa.; two brothers, Woodrow of Connecticut and Ralph of Hooversville; four sisters, Mrs. Sally Faidley of Somerset RD; Mrs. Helen Courtney of Meyersdale; Mrs. Harry Shultz and Mrs. Ruth Custer, both of Friedens; six grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and sisters. He was a member of the Laborers' Union Local 980 and the First Christian Church of Somerset; a veteran of World War II and a member of the Wytheville S. and A.M., Fraternal Lodge No. 82, Wytheville, Va. Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, where services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Don Judy officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
