  MAUST
  
    Richard D. Maust, 59, of Water Level Road, Somerset, went to be
  with his Lord Aug. 19, 2000 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Oct. 28, 1940
  in Meyersdale, son of Richard D. Maust of Berlin and Esther (Dively)
  Johnson of Garrett.  Preceded in death by stepfather Roy Johnson and
  stepmother Ruth Maust.  Survived by parents, wife of 38 years Nancy
  (Knopsnyder) Maust, and these children: Gerald, married to Daryl
  (Lape) Maust of Markleton, Bryan, married to Dolores (Johnson) Maust
  of Garrett, Susan Meyers (fiance of Gary Kurtz) of Somerset, and
  Vicky, married to Paul F. Close Jr. of Somerset; also beloved
  grandchildren Bryan, Michael, Dustin and Danielle.  Brother of Randy,
  John, Daniel and Fred Johnson, all of Garrett, and Ron Johnson of
  Silver Spring, Md.  He was a former employee of Beckwith Machinery in
  Somerset for 25 years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and collected
  model cars and antique bottles.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday Revs. Thomas Kroll and M.D. Herring
  officiating.  Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery, Rockwood.
