  VERNIE M. MAUST
  
    Vernie May Maust, 90, of Meyersdale RD 1, was dead on arrival
  Thursday, Aug. 9, 1990, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born Oct. 16, 1899, in Grantsville, Md., she was the daughter of
  the late Simon M. and Catherine J. (Miller) Yoder.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Enos J. Maust, March 17,
  1990.
    Mrs. Maust was a homemaker and a member of Maple Glen Mennonite
  Church.  She was a former Meyersdale area reporter for "The Budget"
  newspaper, an Amish-Mennonite publication from Ohio.
    Surviving are one brother, Owen Yoder, Berlin; and a number of
  nieces and nephews.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville,
  Saturday.
    Services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Maple Glen
  Mennonite Church by the Rev. Ivan J. Maust.  Interment in the church
  cemetery.
    The body was taken to the church one hour prior to services.
    The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions
  to the World Missionary Press.
