  Viola Marie Maust, 87, Fort Hill, died Aug. 11, 2005, at Meyersdale Medical
  Center, Meyersdale. Born June 21, 1918, in Garrett County, Md., she is the
  daughter of the late John and Annie (Eichorn) Tressler. She is preceded in
  death by her husband, John E. Maust on Sept. 1, 2003; son, Martin Maust; and
  brother Martin "Bud" Tressler. She is survived by son, Dale Maust, Fort Hill;
  daughter Karen Maust, York; daughter-in-law, Jean Maust, Springs; brothers,
  Clyde and Elwood Tressler and sister, Mary Bennett Bennett, all of Salisbury;
  granddaughter Debra Eckard; and great-grandsons, Patrick and Justin Eckard.
  Mrs. Maust was a member of Springs Mennonite Church and the Daughters of Dorcas
  Sewing Circle. She was also a member of the Fifth Society of Farm Women. Friends
  will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Newman Funeral Homes,
  P.A., 179 Miller St. Grantsville, Md. Friends may also call on hour prior to
  the 2 p.m. service Sunday at Springs Mennonite Church. The Rev. Steven Heatwole
  officiating. Interment will be in Springs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may
