  MAUZY
  
  Iva M. Mauzy, 65, 515 Main St., Boswell, died June 23, 1982, at Lee
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 25, 1917, in Somerset County,
  daughter of Lemon G. and Maggie (Shaffer) Berkey.  Preceded in death
  by parents; three brothers; Winton, Alvin and Howard.  Survived by
  husband, Keith A.; and these children: Judith, wife of Robert
  Thorson, Dover, N.J.; Gary, married to the former Linda Shesko,
  Boswell RD 2; Sharon, wife of Gerald Pastuch, Boswell; five
  grandchildren: Jennifer Thorson, Erik and Darin Mauzy, and Jason and
  Joshua Pastuch.  Sister of: Emma Stanton, Tire Hill; Wilbur Clair
  Berkey, Helen Weaver and Alice Shaulis, all of Windber RD 1; LaVerne
  Kinzey, New Paris RD 1; also mother-in-law, Martha House,
  Lancaster.  Member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren and the
  Truth-Seekers Sunday school class.  Friends will be received from 7-9
  p.m. Thursday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 409 Main St., Boswell.  Body will be transferred to Maple
  Spring Church for viewing from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of
  services at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Carrol S.  Ringgold officiating. 
  Interment, Berkey Cemetery, Windber.  Donations may be made to the
  Maple Spring Church Parsonage Fund.
