    Betty Mae Maxey, 45, passed away Wednesday, 5-26 in Sacred Heart
  Hospital Cumberland.  She resided at 20 South St., Cumberland.  She
  was born April 16, 1926, in Somerset, Pa.  She was the wife of Lewis
  V. Maxey and the daughter of Bruce E. Lichty Sr., deceased and Mrs.
  Hilda Beachley of Berlin.  She is survived by a brother Bruce E.
  Lichty Jr. of Berlin; one sister Mrs. Frank Berkenbaugh of
  Cumberland; also survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was a
  member of the Lutheran Church and was employed by the C&P Telephone
  Company for more than 22 years and a member of the Pioneer Club.
