    Alma Rebecca May, 88, Somerset, died June 29, 2008, at The Patriot, Somerset.  Born Aug.
  30, 1919, in Brothersvalley Township, the daughter of Ralph and Harriet Mae (Pritts)
  Romesberg. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ewing Paul May, who died  March 8,
  1992; brothers, Roy J. and Raymond R. Romesberg; sister, Rosalene Raybern; and twin
  sister, Wilma Rowena Hillegas. Survived by children, Mrs. James (Lois) Cuppett,
  Oakland, Md.; William P. May, married to the former Connie Frampton, Somerset;  Mrs.
  Robert (Ruth) Peterson, Annapolis, Md.; grand-children, Glenn and Daniel Cuppett, Heidi
  Slayton and Jason May, Robert Jr., Eric and John Peterson; step-granddaughter, Rennee
  Mills; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ruth Walker, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Romaine
  Laughery, Rockwood. Member of St. Paul's  Ridge United Church of Christ. She worked as a
  seamstress for the former Schenck's Clothing Store.  She was also a member of the
  International Twin Association Stoke Club and American Legion Post 181 ladies
  auxiliary.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday.  The Rev. Jay
  L. Christner officiating. Interment, Ridge Cemetery.  Contributions may be given to
