    Anna Bertha May, 86, 207 Ottawa St., formerly of 543 Highland Ave.,
  Johnstown, died Aug. 16, 1988, at Arbutus Manor.
    She was born March 10, 1902, in Meyersdale, daughter of late
  William F. Sr. and Annie B. (Deist) Hady.
    She was preceded in death by husband, George T.; sisters, Ella
  Koontz, Maude Anderson, Bess Hoopes, Margaret Peck and Nellie Grof;
  and brothers, William F. Jr., Michael and Frederick.
    She was a sister of George, Meyersdale: James, Tustin, Calif.; and
  Dorothy Walters, Johnstown.
    She was retired from gift department of former Penn Traffic Co.;
  member of St. John United Church of Christ.
    Friends were received at The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc.,
  where services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Richard F.
  Pulling.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
