May" of Connellsville died at the Cottage State Hospital, on Aug. 9. On June 29, Mr. May was working in the West Penn Power Plant, and came into contact with wires carrying 22,000 volts, which traversed one side of his body, paralyzing him, and which later resulted in his death connected with pneumonia. The deceased was a son of Mr. C. W. May deceased of near Deal this county, and was aged 20 years, 10 months and 10 days. His father preceded him to the grave 20 years ago. Survivors of the deceased are a wife and one child 3 months old, his mother Mrs. A. C. Miller and one brother Myrtlin May and three half brothers, Harry, Edwin and Walter Miller and one half-sister Zelma Miller. Mr. Miller (May?) was a member of the Lutheran Church of White Oak. The remains were shipped to Deal over the W. M. Ry. on Thursday and were taken charge of by Undertaker Price and were conveyed to the home of his mother. On Sunday morning the remains were taken to the Temple Evangelical Church where services were conducted by Rev. C. E. Miller following which interment was made at that place. Meyersdale Commercial, Aug. 17, 1916 --- The remains of Charles May who died in the Cottage State Hospital Connellsville were brought here on Thursday and were taken to the home of Albert Miller. He is survived by his wife who was, Lottie, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Mankamyer, and a three month old babe. Deceased was aged 20 years, 1 month and 10 days.
