    David F. May, 54, of Athens, Pa., formerly of Confluence, died Oct.
  13, 2001 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa.  Born Feb. 7, 1947
  in Connellsville, son of James Jr. and Helen (Collins) May of
  Confluence.  In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife
  Patricia (Reckner) May; daughter Andria Lynn May of Philadelphia; and
  son James David May of Athens.  Member of Ursina American Legion Post
  946, Sarye Sportsmen Club and Turkeyfoot Valley Baptist Church.  A
  1965 graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School, a veteran of the U.S.
  Army and an employee of Verizon Communications for 35 years.  An avid
  fly fisherman and fly tier.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9
  p.m. Monday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will
  be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Paul Werner officiating. 
  Interment in Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Family suggest memorial
  contributions to the American Cancer Society.
