    Dennis W. May, 28, 989 South Darby Rd., Hermitage, Pa., died April
  4, 1982, in Sharon General Hospital following an extended illness. 
  He was born Dec. 27, 1953, in Somerset, a son of Pauline (Schrock)
  May of Greenville and the late James M. May Sr., who died April 4,
  1979.  He went to the Sharon area in 1971 and was a graduated of
  Reynolds High School Class of 1973.  Prior to his illness, he was a
  driver for Gilliland Trucking Co.  He was a member of the Episcopal
  Church of the Redeemer in Hermitage.  Survived by his wife, Heather
  L. Gilliland, whom he married Aug. 10, 1974; two daughters, Melissa L.
  and Amanda L., both at home; a brother, James M. May Jr. of
  Somerset.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the
  Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Hermitage with the Rev. Samuel H.
  Caldwell officiating.  The family will receive friends in the J.
  Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon,
  Pa.  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday.  Burial at 1 p.m. Thursday at the
  Brotherton Pike Cemetery, Somerset County, conducted by the Rev.
  Eugene Sellers of the First Christian Church.
