Pepple, in Bedford, Pa., of a complication of diseases. He was born at Buffalo Mills, Bedford County, on February 22, 1875, a son of Silas and Elizabeth (Shirey) May, and at his death was aged 69 years, 8 months and 28 days. He had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Pepple for the last five years. Mr. May is survived by four sisters and three brothers: Mrs. George Holler, Cresaptown, Md.; Theodore, Portland, Ore.; George W., Dunkinsville, Pa.; Mrs. Louise Robertson, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Stella Deniker, Grove City, Pa.; Mrs. Frank Newman, Salisbury, and John O. May, Boynton. Mr. May spent most of his life in the vicinity of Boynton, living much of the time with Mr. and Mrs. George Hillegas. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, at the Pate and Son Funeral Home in Bedford, with Rev. James Beacon officiating. Interment was made at the Dry Ridge Cemetery, near Mann's Choice. Those from this vicinity who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John O. May, Mrs. George Hillegas, Mark Hillegas and family, Boynton; Mrs. Frank Newman, Salisbury; Miss Leona Wagner, West Salisbury, and Mrs. Nat Lacavera, Meyersdale.
