    Hazel M. May, 95, of Rockwood, passed away Aug. 28, 2000, at
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born Jan. 26, 1905, in Black Twp., daughter of the
  late John and Sadie (Knopsnyder) Phillippi.  Preceded in death by
  parents, husband William in 1972, son John and 12 brothers and
  sisters.  Survived by children: Vera, married to James Truscott, of
  Boswell; Sadie, married to William Thompson, of Florida; Gladys,
  married to John Smith, of Somerset; Earl May, married to Dolores, of
  Milford, Mich.; and Orville May, married to Jacqueline, of Taylor,
  Mich.; also 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 5
  great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Pearl Klink and Robert
  Phillippi, both of Rockwood.  Attended the Rockwood Christian and
  Missionary Alliance Church.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev.
  Patrick Walsh officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
