    Leora M. May, 77, of Markleton passed on May 24, 2001 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Oct. 20, 1923 in Casselman.  Daughter of the late
  Ambrose and Edna (Firestone) Hinzy.  Preceded in death by husband
  Wilbur C. May, infant son Melvin, brothers Homer, Ambrose Jr.,
  Warren, and Robert Hinzy, and sister Minerva Hart.  Survived by son
  David M., married to Marlene (Hershberger), May and daughter Sally,
  married to William Trimpey, both of Markleton, and grandchildren
  Lynetta Ogline, Michael Trimpey, David May Jr., Charles Trimpey,
  Brian Trimpey, Charles May, Stuart Trimpey, Douglas May, Christine
  Shaulis, Denise Glover, Dennis May, and Samantha Trimpey.  Also 25
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Nellie Persuhn of Hooversville and
  Betty Beal of Schellsburg.  She was an avid flyfisher and sportswoman
  who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood where a service will be held
  at 1 p.m. Saturday, Pastor James Monticue officiating.  Interment
  Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.
