  MARY EVELYN MAY
  
    Mary Evelyn May, 71, Cresaptown, Md., died Dec 7, 1981, Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    She was born Sept. 3, 1910, in Boynton, daughter of the late John
  O. and Margaret (Walker) May.
    She is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Ida Belle Harding, Salisbury;
  and Mrs. Dorothea Leslie, Greenbelt, Md.; and one brother, James B.
  May, of Louisville, Ky.; also a number of nieces and nephews.
    She was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp.  She was a member
  of the Cresaptown Methodist Church, Cresaptown Sisterhood, Homemakers
  Club and Senior Citizens Club.
    Friends were received at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury.  Services
  were held at the Cresaptown Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold R.
  McClay Jr. officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
