SILAS MAY 

Silas May Dead at 95

  Silas May, 95, died on July 26th at the home of Roy Holler, near Buffalo Mills 
in Bedford County.  Mr. May lived for many years in Boynton and at one time was 
stable boss at Hamilton mine.  Thirty years ago he returned to his farm near 
Buffalo Mills and lived there alone for the last few years since the death of 
his wife.  Last fall he moved to the home of his neighbor, Mr. Holler.  John O. 
May of Boynton is a son of Mr. May.
