MCBEE Charles James McBee, 55, of 14215 Winchester Road, Cresaptown, Slanesville, W.Va., died Wednesday, July 18, 1979 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born November 27, 1923 in Cresaptown, he was the son of the late James N. and Susan (Ullery) McBee. He was a 35 year employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Cresaptown Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the Sioux Improved Order of Redmen. Surviving are his widow, Doris (Robinson) McBee; two stepsons, Michael W. Logsdon, and Edward Lee Logsdon, both of Cumberland; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Deborah Smith, Wellersburg, Pa., Mrs. Judith Cosgrove, Valley Road, Mrs. Joyce Print, Ellerslie, and Miss Kimberly Logsdon, Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Gordon, Mount Savage, and Mrs. Marie Appold of Missouri; five stepgrandchildren. Friends were received at Scarpelli Funeral Home where a service was conducted with the Rev. William O'Haver officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Republic, July 26, 1979 [M0638]
