  HAROLD L. MCCARTY
  
    Harold L. McCarty, 53, Confluence RD 2, died May 3, in Somerset. 
  He was born Nov. 24, 1912 in Coal Run, Somerset County, a son of
  Jeremiah and Lorena (Malchon) McCarty.
    He is survived by his wife, Margaret Skinner McCarty; five
  children: Jack, Buffalo, N.Y.; Sheldon, Markleysburg; Richard, Thomas
  and Linda, Jamesville, Wis., and Randy, Ft. Knox, Ky.; two
  grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: James McCarty,
  Melcroft; Samuel, New Castle; Mrs. Geraldine Lint, Braddock; Mrs.
  Irene White, Oxon Hill, Md., and Mrs. Dolores Glass, Silver Spring,
  Md.
    Funeral service was held Friday at 2 p.m. in Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, the Rev. John R. Hixon officiating.  Interment in Johnson
  Chapel cemetery.
