  MCCLELLAN
  
  Ida V. McClellan, 83, Alleghany Lutheran Home, Johnstown, formerly of
  Boswell, died June 6, 1983, in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born
  March 2, 1900, in Shade Township in Somerset County, daughter of Elza
  M. and Mary Louise (Ellenberger) Cable.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, T. Russell, who died in 1965; brothers, Frank, Glenn, Merle
  and half brother George Findley.  Survived by sister, Rhea, widow of
  Walter Thomas, Boswell RD 1.  Long time member of St. Andrews
  Lutheran Church, Boswell, LCW and Ladies Bible Class of the church,
  Wimodausis Rebekah Lodge 217 Somerset, and auxiliaries to Boswell
  Post 461 American Legion and Boswell Volunteer Fire Department.  Very
  active in auxiliary to Alleghany Lutheran Home.  Friends received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and until noon Thursday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, 409 Main Street, Boswell, when body will be removed to St.
  Andrews Church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2
  p.m. with the Rev. George E. Bowersox Jr.  Interment, Jenner
  Crossroads Cemetery.  No viewing at the church.  Legion auxiliary
  service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by firemens auxiliary
  service and Rebekah service.
