Born April 15, 1925, in Somerset, the daughter of Harvey Meyers and Mildred (Hinebaugh) Lichty. Preceded in death by parents; great-grandson, Michael James McClemens; sister, Pauline Shaulis; and brother, George C. Lichty. Survived by husband, William Francis McClemens, to whom she was married 65 years; children, Mrs. William J. (Terri) Snyder, Somerset; James W. McClemens, married to the former, Karen Peterson, Maitland, Fla.; grandchildren, Robert William Snyder and wife, Marci, Berlin; William J. Snyder Jr. and wife, Lisa, Friedens; Mrs. Scott (Julie Ann) Smith, Friedens; Christopher James McClemens and wife, Kathy, and Amy McClemens and fiance, C.D., all of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Gunner, Ryan, Rachel, Sadie and Tyler; sister and brother, Mrs. Shirley Simpson, Akron, Ohio; and Robert Lichty, married to the former Florabelle Walker, Villages, Fla. A 1943 graduate of Somerset High School, worked as a cashier for Wal-Mart until her retirement in 2006. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed being a part of two bridge clubs. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Linda J. McElroy officiating.
