    William Francis McClemens, 84, Somerset, died Sept. 27, 2008, at the Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 17, 1924, in Kimmelton, the son of Frank B. and Pearl Marie
  (Landis) McClemens.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Lois Winifred
  Lichty, who died March 29, 2008; great-grandson, Michael James McClemens;  brother, James
  McClemens; and sisters, Sarah McClemens and Betty Jene Urban. Survived by children, Mrs.
  William J. (Terri) Snyder, Somerset; James W. McClemens, married to the former Karen
  Peterson, Maitland, Fla.; grandchildren, Robert William Snyder and wife, Marci, Berlin;
  William J. Snyder Jr. and wife, Lisa, Friedens; Mrs. Scott (Julie Ann) Smith, Friedens;
  Christopher James McClemens and wife, Kathy and Mrs. C.D. (Amy) Allen, all of Altomonte
  Springs, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Gunner, Ryan, Rachel, Sadie and Tyler; and brother,
  Pat McClemens, Las Vegas, Nev.  A U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked  Until his
  retirement in 1989 as an insurance agent for New York Life. Also a member of  Trinity
  Lutheran Church, FOE Aerie 1801, VFW Post 554 and American Legion Post 181.  No viewing
  or visitation. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Somerset. The Rev. Linda J.  McElroy officiating. Interment, Casebeer
  Cemetery. Contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, 918 Tayman Ave.,
  Somerset, PA 15501.  Arrangements by the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.
