    Alvie R. McClintock, 78, of Confluence RD 1, died Aug. 16, 1996 at
  South Fayette Nursing Center, Markleysburg.  Born Dec. 30, 1917 in
  Confluence.  Son of the late Melvin and Allie (Keslar) McClintock. 
  Preceded in death by his wife, the former Elsie Heinbaugh, and a
  brother, Luther.  Surviving are two sons: William of Imperial and
  Samuel of Confluence.  Also two grandchildren; three
  step-grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and four
  step-great-grandchildren.  An Army veteran of World War II.  Retired
  employee of the Western Maryland Railroad.  He was a member of the
  Harnedsville United Methodist Church and the Ursina American Legion
  Post 946.  Friends are being received at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence until 1 p.m. today, the hour of service.  Rev. Mark Blair
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
