She is survived by her husband, Cyrus McClintock, and the following children: Clyde McClintock, New Lexington; Mrs. Earl Ringer, Confluence; Roy, Gilden and Dorsey McClintock, Fort Hill, and Alice McClintock, at home. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Mrs. Grant Snyder, who died six years ago. Funeral services were conducted at Kingwood Church of God, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Burial in charge of Charles Humbert, Confluence mortician. Meyersdale Republican, July 30, 1942 --- JENNIE VAN SICKEL McCLINTOCK Mrs. Jennie (Van Sickel) McClintock died at her home in Fort Hill, Sunday, July 26, at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 26 days, after an illness of three weeks. She was the daughter of Harrison and Sarah Van Sickel of Ursina, where she spent her girlhood days. She was a faithful member of the Ursina Methodist Church from childhood. She was married 51 years ago to Cyrus McClintock, and lived at Fort Hill until her death. She was a loving mother and wife and will be missed by many friends. She is survived by her husband, and the following children: Clyde McClintock, New Lexington; Mrs. Earl Ringer, Confluence; Roy, Gilden and Dorsey McClintock, all of Fort Hill, and Alice McClintock, at home. Her oldest daughter, Mrs. Grant Snyder, preceded her in death about six years ago, and by 12 grandchildren. Three brothers also survive: John Van Sickel, Ursina, Harry Van Sickel, Wilkinsburg and Dorsey Van Sickel, Pittsburgh. Funeral services were conducted in the Kingwood Church of God by Rev. George Ringer of Somerset, formerly of Ursina, an old friend of the deceased, assisted by Rev. Harold Kinard of the Ursina circuit of the Church of God. She was laid to rest in the Kingwood cemetery with burial in charge of Charles Humbert, Confluence mortician. Meyersdale Republican, August 20, 1942
