Russell McClintock was born on March 15th, 1879, in Addison Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard McClintock, and was aged 52 years, 11 months and 23 days. He entered the service of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad 31 years ago, in the train service, and was advanced to the position of conductor. More than a year ago he left the service of the company, owing to the condition of his health. During his B. & O. service he lived in Connellsville, but since his retirement he has made his home here. He was for many years a member of the Order of Elks and also of the Order of Railroad Conductors. Surviving him, besides his parents, are three sisters, Mrs. Herman Miller of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Clifton Troy of Friedens, and Mrs. Thomas J. McDaniels, of Meyersdale, and two brothers, Ira McClintock of Akron, Ohio, and Herbert McClintock of Confluence. Funeral services were held in the Confluence Methodist Episcopal Church last Friday afternoon, at 1 o'clock, Rev. W. L. Morgan of the Confluence M.E. Church, officiating. Interment in the Ursina Cemetery, Rev. Morgan being also in charge of the services at the grave. Charles B. Humbert was the funeral director in charge. Meyersdale Republican, March 17, 1932
