McCLINTOCK Wade Hampton McClintock, aged coal miner of St. Paul, died at his home on Thursday, December 14th, at 3:30 p.m., of cerebral hemorrhage and arterio sclerosis. Mr. McClintock has been suffering from diabetes and was unable to work in the mines for a number of years and on the Sunday prior to his death suffered a stroke and was paralyzed on the left side. On Monday, he suffered another stroke and did not recover. He was born on September 8, 1873, in Addison Township, son of Wesley J. and Nancy (Turney) McClintock, and was 71 years, 3 months and 6 days of age at his death. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Bodes) McClintock; one daughter, Miriam, wife of Fred A. Speicher, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two sons, Carl, Roxbury, and Clyde, Garrett, R.D.; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Winters, St. Paul. Mr. McClintock was a member of the St. Paul Reformed Church and was a quiet upright citizen, well liked by those who knew him. Funeral services were conducted at his home at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16th, by Rev. Ira S. Monn. Interment was in the St. Paul Cemetery with Mortician Stanley M. Thomas in charge.
