  Arthur Lane McClucas, 80, of Shanksville, died July 23, 2003 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 12, 1922 in Elton, the son of Joseph
  and Mary (Reininger) McClucas.  Preceded in death by his parents;
  daughter, Pauline Berkebile; sisters, Hattie McDannel, Sophia
  Grafford, Julia Mae Hartwig; brothers, Albert and George McClucas. 
  Survived by his wife of 30 years, the former Elsie Jean Fritz;
  children: Arthur, Cairnbrook, Theodore, Central City, Robert,
  Garrett, Christine Jerin, W.Va., Beverly Rowser, N.C., Paul, Berlin,
  Steven, Hooversville and Holly Thompson, Tyrone; son-in-law, Lynn
  Berkebile and wife, Jan, Indian Lake; numerous grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren and a brother, Clarence, Quarryville.  Retiree of
  Bethlehem Steel with 40 years of service, and a member of Shanksville
  Assembly of God.  Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until
  service at 11:30 a.m. Friday (today) at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, with Rev. Sylvia Baker officiating.  Interment Walker
  Cemetery, Shanksville.  Memorial contributions may be sent to
  American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720
  or to Shanksville Assembly of God, P.O. Box 144, Shanksville, Pa.
