  MCCREARY
  
  Clinton R. McCreary, 73, of W. Catherine Street, Somerset, formerly
  of Jennerstown, died June 21, 1977, in his home.  Born April 2, 1904,
  in Johnstown, son of William and Elizabeth Tilley McCreary.  He was
  preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother; one brother,
  Forrest; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Licht, and his first wife, Louella
  Miller.  He is survived by his wife, E. Marie Shank, and these
  children: Lois, wife of Lloyd Hess of Geistown; James of
  Steubenville, Ohio; Jack of Endicott, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren, one
  great-grandchild and these brothers: Charles of Windber; Earl of
  Pacheco, Calif. and Lester of Treasure Island, Fla.  He was a member
  of the Somerset Church of the Brethren and the Jennerstown Volunteer
  Fire Department.  He was a member and treasurer of the Boswell Lions
  Club, past president of Jennerstown Borough Council and a retired
  employe [sic] of Thomas Kinzey Lumber Co., Johnstown.  Friends will be received
  after 7 p.m. today in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services
  will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Jay L. Christner
  officiating.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
