    McCREARY
    
      E. Marie (Shank) McCreary, 89, of Somerset and Jennerstown, died
  March 26, 1994, in Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born Jan. 7, 1905, in
  Somerset, daughter of the late Milton J. and Anna C. (Maust) Shank. 
  Also preceded in death by husband, Clinton R. McCreary, and three
  sisters: Anna Mae Brant, Pauline Miller and Edna Marteeny.  Survived
  by three stepchildren - Lois Hess, Johnstown; James (Audrey), Lake
  Ariel, Pa., and Jack (Jewel), Fayetteville, Ga.; also 13
  step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.  Also sister,
  Ferne Davis, Venice, Fla., and a number of nieces and nephews. 
  Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren.  Former member of BPW. 
  For many years was employed in Picking's drug store.  Retired owner
  and operator of Shank's Cut-rate Store in Jennerstown.  Friends will
  be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday,
  Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  In
  lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Somerset Church of the
  Brethren.
