McCullar, 70, of Somerset died Aug. 18, 2002 at his residence. Born Feb. 7, 1932, in Sharon, Tenn., the son of Elmer D. and Ollie B. (King) McCullar. He is preceded in death by parents and by his wife the former Betty Jean Wagner who died July 10, 1995. He is survived by daughters: Mrs. James L. (Jean Ann) Darr of Berlin, Mrs. Billy Joe (Carol Ann) Tataleba of Berlin; four grandchildren: Christie Michelle and Bradley James Darr, Brandee Jean Ogline and Steven Tyler Tataleba. Brother of Charles L. McCullar of McKenzie, Tenn., Robert McCullar of Martin, Tenn., Mrs. Charles (Gladys) Barham of Memphis, Tenn. and James McCullar of Selmer, Tenn.; one nephew and five nieces; sister-in-law, Mrs. Clifford (Molly) Piel of Somerset, and their son Clifford J. Piel and wife Lisa of Alpha, N.J. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, a 1952 Graduate of McNary High School, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Also a member of American Legion Post 181, and Somerset Country Club. He retired in 1995 as manager of Big Drum Cone Company. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday with a family friend, Rev. Roger L. Forrey officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be sent to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 North Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
