The river had been patrolled day and night during this lapse of time. Frank Previere of Confluence was in charge of the search and with the help of the Confluence firemen, CCC camp boys, the WPA men and the volunteer helpers of all the neighborhood, no stone was left unturned and no clue left unattended. The strain was becoming more acute every day and fears were growing that the body would never be recovered. George Hyatt, who lives near Confluence, while walking along the Casselman River a short distance below where the Laurel empties into it, discovered the body close to the bank and notified the proper authorities of his find. The news quickly traveled from person to person that the body had been recovered. It had evidently been swept down the river before the barricades had been erected to catch the body. Charles Humbert, mortician, took charge of the body and prepared it for burial. Harry was brought to his home on Sunday morning. Funeral services were in the Church of God on Monday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, J. L. Hull. Six school boys were pallbearers. The schools attended in a body by request of Harry's parents. The church was capacity full. The child is survived by his parents, two brothers, one sister, one half-brother and one half-sister; also by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Younkin of Humbert.
