  JoAnn McDaniel, 65, Somerset, passed on Dec. 28, 2005, at home.
  
  Born Nov. 21, 1940, in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Asa and
  Rebecca Beckner. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Blaine,
  Richard, Asa Jr. and Jack Beckner. She is survived by her husband, John McDaniel
  Jr.; son, Kevin John McDaniel and wife, April, Berlin; grandchildren, Shandi Jo
  and Crisstopher John McDaniel; step-grand-daughter Shasty Reed; and brothers,
  John "Louie" Beckner, Manns Choice; and Gary Beckner, Boswell. She is also
  survived by her sisters-in-law, Donna Henrichsmeyer of Lincoln, Ill.; Louise
  Todd, Springfield Ill.; Nadine Phelps, Covington Ind.; and Mary Sears of
  Hermann, Mo.; and brother-in-law, Ronald McDaniel, Louisiana. She was a
  long-time employee of The Patriot in Somerset where she worked in food service.
  She was a member of the Somerset Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where
  she assisted with the Awana Club Bible study group. Friends may call from 9
  a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Christian and
  Missionary Alliance Church. The Rev. James Vandervort officiating. Private
  interment at Bakersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the
  American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.
