Born June 1, 1905, in Gobblers Hollow, Conemaugh Township, daughter of Harvey and Lucinda (Cable) Jones. Preceded in death by parents; step-father, S.L. Cable; husband, Lloyd McDaniel, who died Oct. 9, 1973; grandson, Tim Carrico; stepbrothers, Robert Cable, Glenn Jones and Harvey Jones Jr.; and stepsisters, Evelyn Stayrook, Florence Fulton, Virginia Kennedy and Viola Price. Survived by daughters, Violet, wife of Charles Geise, Lock Haven; Annie, wife of Dick Carrico, Union Bridge, Md.; and Almeda, wife of Paul Stetz, Jerome, with whom she resided. Also five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Leora Brant, Jerome; Rachel Shaffer and Betty Baughman, both of Ohio; and Twila Ott, Gray. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lifetime member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren. Charter member of Ladies Auxiliary of the Jerome Volunteer Fire Company and member of Women of Moose, Chapter 218, Lock Haven. Enjoyed mystery trip traveling. Family receiving friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, the Rev.
