  Mrs. Lottie V. (Shaffer) McDonald, 80, Friedens RD 2, formerly of
  Boswell, died July 14, 1976, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born
  Dec. 25, 1895, in Somerset, daughter of Norman G. and Mary B. (Yoder)
  Shaffer.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Lloyd, who died in
  1935; two sons, Lloyd and Herman; three sisters and six brothers. 
  Survived by these children: Mrs. Ethel F. Haines, Somerset; Cavalle
  J., Mt. Ranier, Md.; and Robert E., Friedens RD 2; 15 grandchildren,
  11 great-grandchildren.  Former member of Boswell Church of God. 
  Friends were received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and will be received
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227
  Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m.
  Saturday, the Rev. Leonard Day.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads
  Cemetery.
