Allen C. McDowell, 73 Is Called By Death
Aged Listie Resident Succumbs After Long Illness;
Burial at Dunbar

Listie, May 13,-----Allen C. McDowell, aged 73, died yesterday at the home of 
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Seiger, with whom he had resided for several years.  He had 
been in poor health for several months, suffering from a complication of 
diseases.

The deceased was a native of Dunbar, Fayette County, where he was born August 
28, 1853.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Hartman, of Seward, and Mrs. Emma 
Pill of Parson. W. Va.

The body has been prepared for burial by Undertaker .C. Clarke of Seward and 
has been removed to the Clarke Mortuary.  Funeral services will be conducted 
tomorrow in Dunbar, with interment in the Mt. Orbin Cemetery there.
