  William Jerome "Jerry" McElligott, 59,
  Somerset, died Feb. 15, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 24, 1947, the son of
  William Jerome and Dorothy Frances (Tahaney) McElligott. Preceded in death by parents;
  brother, William Jerome McElligott. Survived by wife, the former Vickie Diane Kelly, to
  whom he was married 12 years; children, Robert McElligott and fiancˇe Kathy Keller,
  Syracuse, N.Y.; Jerry McElligott, married to the former Jessica Marino, Pittsburgh;
  Meredith McElligott, Pittsburgh; Nicole Blough, Richland; stepchildren, Steven Weller,
  Pittsburgh; Craig Weller, Woodbridge, Va.; Jillian Weller, Somerset; and grandchildren,
  Matthew, Braden and Shea McElligott; and Arrabella Weller. Also survived by sisters, Mrs.
  Leo (Audrey) Rauterkus, Cranberry, and Mrs. Roy (Patty) Kaiser, Swissvale. A 1965 graduate
  of Wilkinsburg High School. U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, worked maintenance for 36 years
  for St. Peter's Catholic Church, also as a self-employed disc jockey for 20 years, also a
  member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and American Legion in Donegal. He enjoyed softball,
  basketball and golf and also enjoyed his trains. Friends received 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at
  Hauger- Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Vigil for the deceased will be held 3 p.m. Monday
  at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Peter's Catholic
  Church, Somerset, with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli Celebrant officiating. Committal
  Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American
  Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501.
