   John D. "Muskie" McElvey Sr., 55, New Port Ritchie, Fla., formerly of Boswell, died
  unexpectedly Dec. 30, 2006, in Florida. Born Sept. 21, 1951, in Johnstown, the son of
  John and Frances (Ball) McElvey. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by companion of
  22 years, Jane Wren, Florida; son, John D. Jr., Jerome; and brother Tom, married to the
  former Debbie Hobba, Jerome. A 1970 graduate of the former Jenner- Boswell High School.
  Funeral arrangements are being handled in Florida. Hoffman Funeral Homes.
